Ingleborough Archaeology Group
Ingleborough Archaeology Group (IAG) was formed in April 1996. Its objects are to investigate and record any aspect of past human activity in the Ingleborough district (15 km radius from Ingleborough summit,) and to make available the results of such work.
The Group has monthly talks and lectures at Ingleborough Community Centre between October and March on the third Monday in each month. It arranges a programme of summer evening walks from May through to September. At the moment we have approximately 60 members with interests ranging from the prehistoric to industrial archaeology.
